What students see after you assign
The same task should appear under Speaking → To-do. Self practice is extra speaking time; it is not the assignment inbox. Keep the first task small, with a clear due date. Do not mix an exam, placement, and free chat in one go.
A workable first assignment
One class, one scenario simulation or topic dialogue. Tell students to allow the microphone. If they cannot find the work, they are usually in Self practice instead of To-do.
How to use it in class
Next day, review completion and one or two shared issues. You do not need to listen to every recording. Step-by-step clicks are in Help Center.
